Frozen fountain
Frozen fountain
The fountain in the front courtyard of the Radcliffe Infirmary is completely enveloped by icicles in the great freeze of 1982. The fountain pays tribute to Bernini's triton fountain in Rome and is grade-II listed: LinkExternal link. For a vastly better view of the fountain (but apparently nudged across to the next grid-square), see: LinkExternal link .
