SK7638 : Former lodge, Elton on the Hill

taken 6 years ago, near to Elton, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Former lodge, Elton on the Hill
Former lodge, Elton on the Hill
Shown on the map as Manor Lodge, presumably built to serve Elton Manor (demolished in the 1930s) - it stands by the former entrance (SK7638 : Gates, Elton on the Hill). Not listed, early Victorian perhaps.
Near the phone box, an old-fashioned (?) telephone sign is affixed to the side wall of what looks like a later extension.
