Between the Junction 3 of the M3 at Bagshot and the M4 near Bracknell, the A322 is dual carriageway and offers an alternative route to the M25 around Heathrow.

The A322 runs for approximately 16 miles between the Bridge Street Gyratory in the centre of Guildford and the Twin Bridges Roundabout at Bracknell. The first part of the route between Guildford and the M3 is a relatively urban route with a dual carriageway for the route between the M3 and Bracknell (LinkExternal link SABRE).
