SN2910 : Roche Castle

taken 4 years ago, near to Broadway, Carmarthenshire/Sir Gaerfyrddin, Great Britain

Roche Castle
Roche Castle
This fragment of wall is about all that remains of Roche Castle, which wasn't a castle at all, but a manor house of circa 1300. It appears that the ruins were not referred to as a 'castle' until the mid 18thC.
