The County Champions celebrate
Yorkshire had just beaten Nottinghamshire by an innings and 152 runs to become the 2014 County Champions. The joyful Yorkshire team huddle round Ryan Sidebottom, who had just taken the last wicket to finish with 6 for 30 while the last two Notts batsmen turn for the Pavilion, where the crowd are on their feet. Sadly, the sun was briefly behind high cloud on an otherwise sunny September morning.

(Ryan Sidebottom has now been a County Championship winner four times: with Yorkshire in 2001 and 2014 and with Notts in 2005 and 2010.)
