Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 4
Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 4
A footbridge has always been part of the fabric of the canal here, providing a public footpath route across the canal and connecting Wilstone with the neighbouring villages of Astrope and Long Marston away to the north-west. But today's bridge is evidently a modern replacement with the footings protected from errant boats by sheet metal piling.
