SU3796 : Rampart at Cherbury

taken 10 years ago, near to Charney Bassett, Oxfordshire, England

Rampart at Cherbury
Rampart at Cherbury
The earth ramparts of this Iron Age monument are well preserved and easily visible under short grass, at least on the eastern side from where the footpath goes.
It's a shame that the whole site is fenced off and seems to be used as just another field.
