SK2406 : Statfold Barn Railway - across the pond

taken 4 years ago, near to Alvecote, Warwickshire, Great Britain

Statfold Barn Railway - across the pond
Statfold Barn Railway - across the pond
The locomotive is Marchlyn - an 0-6-0 built by Avonside of Bristol in 1933 as No. 2067. After many years on static display in the USA it was returned to the UK in 2011 and is now in a much better environment. She is working a demonstration good train with Sybil Mary - a Hunslet - on the rear. Not my best picture (a tree cuts the loco in half) but I found the overall effect quite pleasing.
