SH6481 : The southern tip of Puffin Island

taken 3 years ago, near to Penmon, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Great Britain

The southern tip of Puffin Island
The southern tip of Puffin Island
Puffin Island, also known as Priestholm or Ynys Seiriol, is off Penmon Point, the most easterly point of Anglesey (Ynys Mon).

According to some authors, there is a path from here up to the right. I think this photo makes it clear that this path, if it ever existed, does so no more. For the terrain that intrepid walkers will encounter on Puffin Island, see my photo SH6481 : On Puffin Island, and also those by Douglas Law for the other three grid squares covered by the island.
