The edge of the plateau offers extensive views over Abergavenny in the Usk valley to the peaks beyond. In this image (from left to right) are Sugar Loaf with its three spurs of Llanwenarth, Rholben and the wooded Deri, Ysgyryd Fawr ('the Skirrid') and Ysgyryd Fach. Bryn Arw and Hatterrall Hill are seen behind Deri. Craig Syfyrddin is seen in the distance between the two Skirrids.
