taken 3 years ago, 3 km from Ericstane, Dumfries And Galloway, Great Britain

A source of the Tweed, Whitehope Burn
A source of the Tweed, Whitehope Burn
Despite the 'Source of the River Tweed' lay-by on the A701, Whitehope Burn here appears to be the highest source (approx. 580m) of the Cor Water which is joined downstream by the Smid Hope Burn and Glencraigie Burn to form the Tweed.
