Carn Pen-y-clogau
Carn Pen-y-clogau
The top of this Bronze Age cairn which sits on a hilltop at 523m. It is one of a series of cairns/barrows which seem to appear on every summit in the vicinity. A visitor here suggested that the hollowed out centre of the cairn was where bodies were laid, but the hollow is recent as people have moved the stones to make a rough shelter.
