taken 4 years ago, near to Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Upper surface of the Sleek Stone
Upper surface of the Sleek Stone
More or less on the crest of the fold of the anticline (just above where the children are sitting in SM8514 : Sleek stone [illustrating how the rocks have been folded]). This is the upper surface of a single rock stratum, kept clean by constant storm and wave action, with another stratum, about 5' deep, above it at the edge of the vegetated cliff.
