The Old Toll House
The Old Toll House
Situated on St John's island - a natural feature of the River Avon here - is a toll house next to Harnham Bridge. Today it's a private residence but the house is close to the remains of the St John's Baptist Chapel, hence the name given to the small tongue of land.
