Easdale Community Hall
Easdale Community Hall
The original hall on this site was built in 1871 when there was a thriving quarrying industry on the island. By the 1950s the population had dwindled to virtually zero and the hall fell into serious disrepair. During the 1980s, the hall acquired a temporary new lease of life as a fish processing plant.

The present hall replaces the original structure and was opened in 2003. The central pyramid is supported by a column believed to be a mast taken from a sailing ship which went down in 1870.
