Distinctive but ever-changing cairn on Tooleyshaw Moss
Judging by the background this has to be the same cairn seen in 2012 in SE0804 : Distinctive cairn on Tooleyshaw Moss. It has lost its pointed top but no doubt will regain its former glory with a little help from its friends...
The man resting by it said it was not marked on his map. It is clear on the Google satellite view, but is on the old track marked on the OS map in black rather than the green one ("Public Footpath").
He also pointed me in the general direction, saying that the path was a bit vague in places, with boggy bits, but if you followed the compass in a southerly direction you would not go far wrong.
