This is a view of SK0598 : Torside Reservoir overspill to Rhodeswood Reservoir and SK0598 : Torside reservoir overflowing from the Torside Dam Head and in drier times!
Basically, when the water level reaches the top of the line of dressed stones it spills over and runs down a channel (along with water from a weir off shot to the left) to the Rhodeswood Reservoir below.
