Castell Deudraeth
Castell Deudraeth
An early Victorian castellated mansion built by David Williams, the first Liberal MP for Merioneth. It was bough by Sir Clough Williams Ellis in 1931 intending to use it to expand the Portmeirion estate and to give him a proper driveway from the main road. It was completely restored and opened as a hotel in 2001.
