Holy Trinity Church, Bosham, West Sussex
Holy Trinity Church, Bosham, West Sussex
Mainly Saxon, Norman and 13th century Gothic. This church is famous for being featured in the Bayeux Tapestry and shows Earl Harold (later King) riding to Bosham with his retinue in 1064, praying in this church and feasting at his nearby manor house before embarking on his ill fated trip to Normandy to meet Duke William, who later defeated him at Hastings.
