Exhibition Centre station
The original railway route from Glasgow Central (Low Level) to Kelvinbridge is on the right, through what was once a double-track tunnel. On the left is the 1970s connection to the line from Glasgow Queen Street (Low Level), built in connection with reopening of the former Caledonian Railway routeas the "Argyle Line" and linking it to that of its arch-rival, the North British Railway. Within the original tunnel, a new spur provides access for city-bound trains from Partick.
