Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 10
Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 10
This is another original farmers' access bridge over the canal and as such has not received the battering that the road bridges have suffered. This example is little altered since it was built between 1811 and 1814 when the canal was completed and as such merits Grade II Listing status. The canal is heavily lined with reeds along this reach, broken only by anglers' fishing positions such as the one visible on the left.
