Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Isolated reach
Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Isolated reach
This is the western end of the approximate 850 metre long straight reed-lined reach that seriously narrows the width of the canal. SP8614 : Grand Union Canal: Aylesbury Arm: Bridge No 10 is just visible in the distance. The photographer would normally state which Civil Parish a reach is in, but this section of the canal is so remote that it would be meaningless. Possibly Bierton with Broughton would be the Civil Parish but both villages are several kilometres away.
