SH7075 : East Quarry winding house

taken 3 years ago, near to Penmaenmawr, Conwy, Great Britain

East Quarry winding house
East Quarry winding house
Product from the second and third levels of the East Quarry descended this incline to the lowest level. A wagon turntable lies partly-obscured in the grass at the intersection of the incline and the tramway along the level. To the left is a substantial workshop built in the indigenous concrete blocks, and apparently protected from blasting 'fly-rocks' by a substantial stone wall.
