In the summer of 2004 I spent a few days cycling around Kent. The weather generally was dire but I managed to avoid almost all the rain and had some excellent conditions for photography. (Just after I left Dover I looked back and, sure enough, the town was experiencing a downpour!) I added this picture because of the way in which the castle stands out against the blue sky and white clouds.
