SY3492 : Lyme Regis: northern edge of Broad Ledge

taken 4 years ago, near to Lyme Regis, Dorset, Great Britain

Lyme Regis: northern edge of Broad Ledge
Lyme Regis: northern edge of Broad Ledge
The large, flat rocky area here, called Broad Ledge, protrudes a little in this eastward direction from the promenade, but much further out to the south of the headland. The larger southern section (out of picture to the right) is at a slightly lower level, not by much but at the time of this visit it was just about underwater.

In the background we look along the splendid west Dorset coastline with Golden Cap, the highest point on the English south coast, prominent just right of centre.
