Inverness and Perth Junction Railway
Inverness and Perth Junction Railway
The trackbed of the railway which crossed Dava Moor between Aviemore and Forres. This was the first crossing from Strathspey to Inverness, built when the Slochd was too fearsome an obstacle for the locomotives of the time. This is a view north from the 1052 foot summit. The trackbed is now a path - the Dava Way.
