Severn railway bridge piers
Severn railway bridge piers
Abandoned during the difficult demolition of the bridge following its destruction by two tanker barges on 25th October 1960, these concrete filled cast iron piers have been left as a reminder of the magnificent bridge which once crossed the estuary at this point.
