Victoria in her Square, Birmingham
Victoria in her Square, Birmingham
Behind the monarch you can see Birmingham's Council House. The square, originally called Council House Square was renamed Victoria Square in January 1901 - just twelve days before the old queen's death. This was also when the marble statue was first unveiled.
