St. Peter ad Vincula, A Knight and His Lady
St. Peter ad Vincula, A Knight and His Lady
The effigy of Sir Lambert de Trikingham is 7ft 7in tall, with lions at his feet (to signify courage).

The Effigy of his wife (whose maiden name was Spanye, which is also given elsewhere in the church as her forename) has dogs at her feet to signify fidelity.

The effigies were moved from the original tomb in the north aisle during the rebuilding of 1859.
