SU8003 : Flood Defences, Bosham Harbour

taken 3 years ago, near to Bosham, West Sussex, Great Britain

Flood Defences, Bosham Harbour
Flood Defences, Bosham Harbour
An extension to the previous flood defences, and about one foot (30cm) higher than the older adjacent defence wall. On the pallet are building components, blocks of flints set into concrete. Steel mesh, and wall ties were also being used in 'traditional' wall construction. Whilst I did not check, I'm assuming that the tubes, to the bottom left of picture, contain a compound which delays the setting of the mortar.
