TF0836 : St .Peter ad Vincula, Medieval paint

taken 3 years ago, near to Threekingham, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

St .Peter ad Vincula, Medieval paint
St .Peter ad Vincula, Medieval paint
Most of the interior was refurbished in 1859, and there is very little of the Medieval fabric exposed, but this fluted pillar at the root of the tower still shows faint red traces of the medieval wall paint.

There are supposed to be similar traces in some of the window reveals, but my eyes are not young enough to spot them.
