Woodland Lake
Woodland Lake
The Forestry Commission seems to have promoted the name "Penninghame Pond" and developed access to the area appreciably (notably for the Disabled). The original name on the Ordnance map is "Castle Stewart Loch", deriving from the nearby ruined castle of the same name, and indeed the burn feeding the loch.
