Built as council offices, together with the building opposite (SK3536 : 16 St Mary's Gate, Derby), 1912, in a slightly stodgy Italianate style. By J.S. Storey, County Architect, and completed by his successor G.C. Copestick. Grade II listed.
Currently offices of the city council's youth offending service.
