The NE escarpment of Sgurr Breac
The NE escarpment of Sgurr Breac
Impressive cliffs from this viewpoint while ascending Sgurr Breac by the clear path on its SE ridge. The Mountain Weather Information Service had suggested that sunlight would be hard to find on the coastal hills of the NW Highlands and this was borne out by rain and low cloud over An Teallach and points further west, while the Fannichs saw improving sunshine all day.
