Blackwater and Hawley, Hart District, Hampshire
The main feature of this square is Hawley Park. This parkland can be seen from the A327, and there is a sign at the entrance for an Equitation Centre, presumably at the home farm. Hawley Park House is a large house, at one time a hotel and now partially divided into flats. The central part was built in the late 18C and refronted c.1860 when the south east wing the conservatory to the north west were added. The house is cement-rendered and has a large stone portico.
