SE0269 : Priest's Tarn

taken 3 years ago, near to Priest's Tarn [water Feature], North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Priest's Tarn
Priest's Tarn
The map shows a body of water filling the entire basin from which the small gill of Crag Grainings flows.
The reality is a vegetation choked body of primordial soup, slightly larger than a puddle, while a delight for botanists - is hardly worth a second glance from the casual passer-by.
