The Castle, Roundhay Park
The Castle, Roundhay Park
A 19th century folly constructed as an eye-catcher for Thomas Nicolson the then owner of the mansion house and park. It has been rebuilt since this photo was taken - a comparative 2002 view, SE3338 : Folly in Roundhay Park , shows considerably more stonework above the arch.
