The interior of St Giles Church, Shipbourne
St Giles Church at Shipbourne was rebuilt in 1721-22 and again in 1880-81 at the expense of Edward Cazalet of Fairlawne. It is an estate church at the centre of the village and estate of Fairlawne. Pevsner draws attention to the plentiful wall stencilling inside. The church is decorated for Harvest Festival and hops are draped over the pulpit.

The Greensand Way passes through the churchyard on its way to Ightham Mote.
