Ringwood Hall at Brimington was built for the owners of the Stavely Coal and Iron Works the great industrialist brothers, George and Richard Barrow, . Ownership changed hands after the death of the brothers and the Markham family became the residents there.The HaHa was probably built when the main hall was built in 1820
