Farmland at Quirn
Farmland at Quirn
The cattle are grazing on land that has obviously been cultivated and looked after. Beyond them, on the far side of the Slough Burn, there are traces of former cultivation but the land has mostly reverted to rough grass with heather higher up. The solitary Scots Pine marks the site of Mains of Quirn.
