NY5500 : Footbridge over Ashstead Beck

taken 3 years ago, near to Selside, Cumbria, Great Britain

Footbridge over Ashstead Beck
Footbridge over Ashstead Beck
The bridge would be too narrow even for a Shetland pony so mounted users of the bridleway would probably find this crossing awkward. The valley of Ashstead Beck is a pleasant spot even though it is somewhat dominated by pylons and overhead power lines.
