SH6806 : End of the line, Nant Gwernol

taken 10 years ago, near to Abergynolwyn, Gwynedd, Wales

End of the line, Nant Gwernol
End of the line, Nant Gwernol
The buffer stops at the Talyllyn Railway's upper terminus are at the bottom of a former incline (now a footpath, right) which led to a slate quarry that was a reason for the railway's construction. The footpath on the left leads down to a footbridge in the Nant Gwernol ravine, after which the station is named.
