Coupling up the loco
Coupling up the loco
One of a group of bystanders, and with no knowledge of trains, I watched the loco disconnected from the front of the train after its arrival in Holt, reversed down the other line past the carriages, and reconnected at the other end for its return (backwards) to Sheringham.
If anyone would like to translated this into the correct vocabulary I am happy to go along with it!
Locomotive is the George Stephenson, named in 1975 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. See: LinkExternal link
