The easternmost of three springs at Moorside
The easternmost of three springs at Moorside
'One attraction of living in Moorside was the purity of the water, which percolates out of the hill... In the late 1800s this was much purer than the contaminated water available in Baildon village...The easternmost spring is the most obvious, with large curved retaining walls forming a sort of grotto for the well at the back.' From The Lost Hamlets of Baildon Moor Walk, in the Baildon Heritage Trails series.
