Farnham Castle Walls
Farnham Castle Walls
A view of the castle walls. The destruction of the castle as a military stronghold required the demolition of the towers which were positioned on top of the wall. This was accomplished in 1648 by the use of gunpowder. For a view of the castle and Bishop's Palace refer to picture SU8347 : Farnham Castle & Palace.
