Featuring the church and the Chesterfield Canal. The perspective of bridge and boat is a bit dodgy.
Nottinghamshire's new village signs

The main panel of these signs is a bas-relief in cast aluminium with a scene or emblem specific to the village concerned and hand painted. Some villages have chosen to display more than one design.
In many cases designs have been contributed or inspired by local school children. They make a welcome replacement for the standard Worboys style signs which they replace.
The original 'village' concept has been expanded to include some nucleated urban communities based on earlier separate villages.
