Ruigh-aiteachain: Chimney Stack of Landseer's Bothy
Ruigh-aiteachain: Chimney Stack of Landseer's Bothy
All that remains of a house built by the Duchess of Bedford and associated with Sir Edwin Landseer. More of the house and some of his decorative frescoes survived into living memory. In the census records of 1841, six adults and three children occupied three houses at Ruigh-aiteachain, only one house remains.
