SP7500 : Old Kiln Lakes

taken 9 years ago, near to Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England

Old Kiln Lakes
Old Kiln Lakes
Old Kiln Lakes is the name of a large new housing area on old industrial land once used for cement manufacturing.
The adjacent quarries cover an even larger area and are being retained for nature reserve, fishing, amenity etc.
The developers have put up a viewing platform beside the sales office with this explanatory picture board.
The extent of the whole site is that triangular section in the picture.
