Minster Lovell Hall

The ruins of the mid C15th Minster Lovell Hall lie between the church of St Kenelm Link and the River Windrush in a very attractive and picturesque site. The hall fell into a ruinous condition in the mid C18th, though an engraving of 1729 LinkExternal link suggests it was still in good condition as late as this.
The manor and hall were owned by a number of different people since its construction in 1431/32 for William 7th Lord Lovell. It is now in the care of English Heritage (see LinkExternal link )
A plan of the ruins can be seen here LinkExternal link
It is EH Grade I listed LinkExternal link
and the site is a listed Ancient Monument LinkExternal link
