Brede Waterworks
The big engine house on the right houses a Worthington-Simpson inverted vertical triple expansion steam pump dating from 1939. The lower section is the boiler house - now home to a museum of smaller steam pumps. The left hand engine house is home to a 1904 Tangye inverted vertical triple expansion steam pump. The site is usually open first Saturday in the month and the engines turn on compressed air. They do have a boiler to install.
